Friday, September 25th:

  • Principal Honor Roll June 2020 & Perfect Attendance 2020 – 2021 Drive-Thru Event:
    • Students who earned an unweighted GPA of 4.0 or higher on the June 2020 report card and who maintained perfect attendance for the 2019 – 2020 school year will receive a certificate and small treat as part of a drive-thru recognition event.
    • Students receiving a certificate were notified with details via school message.
    • The event will take place in the front parking lot between 1:30pm and 3:30pm based on student last name = A – M, 1:30pm – 2:30pm; N – Z, 2:30pm – 3:30pm.

Tuesday, September 29th:

  • ICC Meeting.
    • We will be hosting a virtual ICC meeting on Tuesday, September 29th at 2:45pm.
    • A virtual meeting invite link will be sent to advisors/student representatives on Monday, September 14th.

Wednesday, September 30th:

  • Student Senate Meeting.
    • We will be hosting our first virtual Student Senate meeting on Wednesday, September 16th at 2:45pm.
    • A virtual meeting invite link will be sent to Advisors/Student Senators on Monday, September 14th.

Monday, October 5th – Friday, October 9th:

  • Fall Break for Students. Classes resume on Monday, October 12th.

Nutritional Services

Starting September 15th through December 31st we will return to FREE meal service for anyone in the community 2-18 years old.

**Student bar codes will no longer be required.  Each individual will receive a bag containing breakfast, lunch, and fruit (regardless of income eligibility).  For the time being, all schools will continue to serve meals on Tuesdays from 11 am – 1 pm (while supplies last). **

If you have not done so yet, please fill out a meal application.  Even though everyone will receive meals for free, turning in an application will help your school obtain funding.

A partir del 15 de Septiembre hasta el 31 de Diciembre, regresaremos al servicio de comidas GRATUITO para cualquier persona de la comunidad de 2 a 18 años.

**Los códigos de barras de los estudiantes ya no serán necesarios.  Cada individuo recibirá una bolsa que contiene desayuno, almuerzo y fruta (independientemente de la elegibilidad de ingresos).  Por el momento, todas las escuelas continuarán sirviendo comidas los martes de 11 am-1 pm (mientras duren los suministros). **

 Si aún no lo ha hecho, complete una solicitud de comida. Aunque todos recibirán comidas gratis, entregar una solicitud ayudará a su escuela a obtener fondos.

Athletic Uniform and Equipment Make – Up Collection

Athletic Uniform and Equipment Make – Up Collection, Friday, September 18th (En Español)

To our Southwest High Raider Student-Athletes and Families,

With the cancellation of the Spring sports season, we would like to share our plan for the collection of uniforms and equipment from those student-athletes who are still in possession of a uniform issued to them for the Spring season. *This plan also pertains to any student-athlete still in possession of a uniform from a Fall or Winter sport.

On Friday, September 18th, from 1pm to 3pm, our Athletic Director will be available at the front entrance parking lot for students to drop off uniforms and/or equipment.

All student-athletes who checked out a uniform and/or equipment as part of any season of sport must return all items. Student-Athletes who do not return their uniform and/or equipment will be placed on a debt list.

All uniforms should be washed, placed in plastic bags, and labeled with the following:

  • Student’s First and Last name
  • Grade, and Student ID number
  • Sport, and Level (Novice, JV, Varsity).
    All equipment should also be labeled with the same information.

Bins will be available once parents and/or students enter the main entrance parking lot area. We are asking parents and/or students to please place their uniforms and equipment in the bins. Our Athletic Director will be present with athletic rosters to assist in verifying names of students returning items.
When you arrive at school, please adhere to all social distancing guidelines and ensure that you are wearing a mask. Our staff will also be adhering to the public health guidelines on social distancing and following established public health and district protocols.
